Bios:
Sue Carlson, RN, BScN
Sue obtained her nursing diploma in 1990 and has worked in pediatrics, intensive care, recovery room and surgery management throughout her career. In 2007 she obtained her BScN and started working for MacEwan University as a nurse educator in 2010. She is currently enrolled in the master's of nursing program at the University of Athabasca.

Barbara Geran, BScN, RN
Barb obtained a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Saskatchewan in 2005. Strongly valuing continuing education, Barb began pursuit of her graduate degree in 2010. Recognizing the importance of advancing technology and the impact on health professionals, MHST/NURS 602:Transforming Health Care through Informatics piqued her interest. While working online towards her graduate degree, Barb works as a registered nurse in a pediatric outpatient department.

Lynn Humber, BA, BN, RN
Lynn has a BA in psychology from Mount Allison University and a BN from University of Calgary. She is currently enrolled in the Master's of Nursing program at University of Athabasca. Lynn has worked in health care for fourteen years, working in areas such as mental health, adult medicine and surgery, infection control, public health and most recently she is working for Health Canada. Lynn is interested in learning more about nursing informatics (NI), specifically how NI interfaces with communicable disease programs in public health. Lynn is a recent member of the Nova Scotia nursing informatics association.
